Welcome to the Tesouro website! Located in the Napa
Valley, we are a small, very personal
wine business
specializing in California
port-style fortified wines. We also
produce a limited amount of unique red table wine.
We are
inspired by our love of viticulture and wine making
and by the unique opportunity
that Northern California
offers for producing some of the finest wines in the world. Our
goal is simple: to
produce intriguing, outstanding wines that
bring pleasure to those who
drink them.
There
is growing interest in sweet and fortified wines. To learn
more

Association. Tesouro is please to be one of
the founding members.
SFWA was organized in 2007 and has been growing rapidly.
In
March, 2009, SFWA hosted a tasting of sweet and fortified
wines at SAVOR THE FLAVOR II
in Livermore Valley. Watch the SFWA website for future events.
Wines from Iberian grapes are gaining in
popularity. Tesouro is also a member of TAPAS -
Tempranillo Advocates, Producers and Amigos Society, with 36 member
wineries producing
table and dessert wines from Spanish and Portuguese varietals such as
Tempranillo, Albarino,
Graciano and other exotic varietals. At a recent tasting in
San Francisco, our 2005 port-style
dessert wine was selected as one of the ten best wines (see "press
releases").
